Mackman Group’s strapline, ‘together we grow’, reflects the important relationships our agency continues to build with clients, suppliers, colleagues and the wider community. It is the blend of our talented team, combined with a ‘can do’ attitude and thirst for best practice, that is at the heart of our success. We work closely with local charities and businesses in and around Suffolk, to best support the welfare of our community.
Based at our Sudbury head office, Mackman Research sits alongside our sister company, Mackman Marketing & Branding Agency, working in tandem on client projects. Although we have people working from home, our office supports a collaborative work environment as our teams work closely with one another to reach tight deadlines and targets, and to also generate and implement new ideas.
In such a dynamic environment, you can be sure that working at Mackman will grow your skill set and develop you as an individual. Supported by co-founder Dr Gemma Mackman, you will thrive alongside postgraduate students and specialists in the field. Hear more from Gemma and listen to her recent podcast episode exploring diversity and society tribalism on The Wellbeing Project podcast, created by The PodBarber.
We understand the importance of a healthy work / life balance and we are well-placed to accommodate both our clients' and colleagues' needs. Located in the heart of Sudbury’s market town, we have amenities, local businesses and cafes, and meadow walks on our doorstep.
We have regular staff socials including a summer social which normally includes freshly made pizza, salads and a BBQ in our newly refurbished courtyard garden. At Christmas, we naturally all go out together to eat a little too much. There are other excuses to go out together like to celebrate staff life events and milestones.
As an equal opportunities employer, Mackman Group is committed to the equal treatment of all current and prospective employees and does not condone discrimination on the basis of age, disability, sex, sexual orientation, pregnancy and maternity, race or ethnicity, religion or belief, gender identity, or marriage and civil partnership. We aspire to have a diverse and inclusive workplace and encourage suitably qualified applicants from all backgrounds to apply and join Mackman Group.
If you think you have something special to add to Mackman Research then please do get in contact. Email your CV and covering letter to [email protected] including the role that you are applying for.
We will only review applications from individuals, and therefore politely request that we are not contacted by recruitment agencies. Please do not call or email if you are a recruitment agency. It's nothing personal, but high volumes of speculative calls negatively impact our business's efficiency. Please help us to maintain the highest levels of customer service by respecting our wishes.
