Senior Analyst

In September 2021 I finished my 6-month Kickstarter internship at Mackman Research, and now hold the role of Senior Analyst. In 2020 I completed a Masters degree in Cybercrime Investigation, before which I was studying for my Bachelors in Criminology and Sociology at the University of Nottingham. I loved the research and statistics aspects of my degrees, especially the 'cyber snooping' strategies I learned through my Masters, so I have enjoyed experiencing the practical applications of research with Mackman.

My role includes everything research, from conducting surveys and analysing data, to writing and presenting reports. I also write content, perform web analytics and SEO, and help the other teams at Mackman when they need it.

What sort of activities do you enjoy in your free time?

I have a lot of hobbies, including digital art, gaming, and reading. I also love escape rooms, adventure golf, airsoft, theme parks - anything to keep me busy, and especially anything competitive. I'm a bit of a jack-of-all-trades, which I think reflects in my diverse role at Mackman!

What is your favourite part about working for Mackman?

Definitely the people; everyone here is so friendly and welcoming, and great to work with. I also love that they have supported me in pursuing my strengths and doing the things I love, by encouraging me to write and edit content, create reports, and perform data analysis and web analytics.
